When I started affiliate marketing my biggest question was what is the best affiliate marketing program for beginners? I was just starting out and my website was brand new which means I had little to no traffic and no authority.
Luckily, I had a clue where to start because I was in the middle of my Wealthy Affiliate training. For those of you who don’t know Wealthy Affiliate is a platform that provides full training for anyone who wants to get their start with an online business. If you are curious you can check out the Wealthy Affiliate review by searching it in Google.
Ok, so getting back to the topic of discussion, affiliate programs, there are affiliate programs that won’t even think of accepting your application if you don’t have an established website or domain with substantial traffic. I found this out the hard way.
I wasted plenty of time submitting applications to multiple affiliate programs that obviously I was too new for. The response that I got from these companies was that my website traffic was too low for their program. This was beyond frustrating, and I wasted a lot of time.
Think about it. I submitted the application and then I had to wait a couple of days to get their declined response. Initially, I did not know that was what I was waiting for. So, the goal of this article is to save you some time and frustration and you can learn from my mistakes and save your time and effort applies to programs that will accept you.
So, without further ado, below I have put together a list of affiliate programs that will be easy for you to join.
Affiliate Marketing Program for Beginners
ClickBank is by far one of the easiest affiliate programs to sign up for. Their application is very simple and to the point. Their platform houses many different categories for all types of niches.
They have thousands of products that you can promote within any niche that you can think of such as e-business & e-marketing, business/investing, parenting & families, health & fitness, and many more.
I recommend applying for ClickBank as it is so easy to make money through this platform. Many affiliate programs have an initial application process that you must get approved for and then for each product you want to promote there is another company and application that needs to be submitted within the initial affiliate program.
With ClickBank, you only have one application to submit and then you have access to any and all affiliate products that you want to promote.
ClickBank’s affiliate links are called hop links. You will have access to them all once you gain access to their program. They also have a Knowledge Base if you get stuck, have questions, or need additional assistance.
It may take a couple of days to gain acceptance into their program. After you receive the notification that you have been accepted go back to the ClickBank website and log in. Click here to sign up for ClickBank now.
ShareASale is another affiliate program that has an easy approval process when you are getting started with your affiliate marketing. I especially like ShareASale because they have great products, well-known companies which are easy to market.
Their process is similar to that of ClickBank in that you will complete the initial application and they will follow up with you in a couple of days letting you know if you have been approved for their program or not.
Once you receive the approval you will go to the ShareASale website and log in. After you log in, you will select the merchant’s tab and that will take you to all of the products that are available to promote.
Next, you will have to apply for each product’s company. Some of them have immediate approval and some of them you will have to wait for approval which should be up to 5 days, some take longer.
The application process for the specific products you are wanting to promote consists of simply checking a box and clicking a submit tab. I have provided a snapshot below. It does help to complete the optional promotional information for approval. I highly suggest it if you really want to promote the product.
That about sums up the process for ShareASale. Easy right?
3. CJ (Commission Junction)
Commission Junction is a very large network with thousands of popular products and companies to promote. Again, this is one of my favorites. The initial application is pretty simple, however, that is not all you need to do to be able to promote the products within this network.
Next, you will have to set up your network and answer multiple questions about how you plan on promoting the products of your choice, etc. The process is a bit lengthier than the others, however, it is well worth it.
You might as well get used to this process because this is common for applications to promote products. However, we think of ourselves as affiliates, these affiliate programs refer to us as publishers so when you complete the applications you will be selecting the publisher applications.
So, what is the best Affiliate Marketing Program for Beginners? I would say that all of the above are equally awesome. What determines what works best for you and your niche may vary. However, the above programs will give you plenty of products to promote.
